Prisma -

Prisma is an association with a great diversity of members, who all have the eradication of poverty as their main goal. This internal variety together with the communal focus is the core of the organisation. The complexity and size of the worldwide poverty issue makes co-operation necessary. But also the rapid developments in the world of international development ask for co-operative action.
Development aid is, however, not a technical and value-free activity. All Prisma members work from a Christian conviction and regard their work as an answer on the divine assignment for justice and compassion towards our neighbours. This shared conviction provides a mutual solidarity.
Prisma is active in a great number of areas
• Co-ordination in co-operation, dialogue and reflection;
• Convening meetings which are of importance for the position of Prisma and for the po-sition of her members;
• Co-operative representation in forums in relation to welfare and development aid;
• Establishing sub-committees around common issues which are of importance for the members in the execution of their mandate;
• Mediating between institutional donors and (some of) the members in relation to fund-ing and spending of funds;
• Appointment of professional apparatus if necessary.

Woord en Daad wants to fight poverty in Africa, Asia and Central-America from a Christian perspective. Through local organizations we want to provide a decent existence for the poor. To do this, we appeal to everyone’s responsibility, both here and over there. Woord en Daad wants to be a strong and reliable link between you and the poor in our working area. Woord en Daad structurally cooperates with Christian partner organizations. The activities are centred around four themes: Education, Job & Income (vocational training, setting up businesses), Basic Needs (health care, agriculture, water) and emergency aid. In the Netherlands, we want to stimulate people to take responsibility for their neighbours.

Netwerk Landelijke OuderOrganisaties -

The Dutch Network of National Parental Organisations aims to strengthen the cooperation between Dutch parental interest groups to give them a strong voice. Our main points are:
- Parents are both first choice and finally responsible for education, rearing and caring of their children and that this rearing is essential for the development of children
- Parents are, considering their children, the best experience experts.
- That parents deserve respect, appreciation, and support from society, in particular from governing boards, policy makers, and professionals working in the field of education healthcare, social welfare and other relevant public fields.
Parents have the
right to be considered as
equals by governing boards, policy makers and professionals.
Should participating organisations countersign a mutual declaration of intention to a cooperation based on above mentioned points. And to actively fulfil this cooperation.
This fully voluntary cooperation addresses the following:
- Sharing of knowledge and information and wherever possible supporting each other addressing problems
- Acting as one body when addressing mutually recognised problems, giving wanted and unwanted advice to all involved or responsible parties.
